This week we are looking at popcorn!
Popcorn poetry. POP is an onomatopoeia, a word that mimics a sound. Have your learner try writing a poem about popcorn using the onomatopoeia! Use other descriptive words in your poem. You can for inspiration.

Let's look at some geography. Most U.S. popcorn is grown in the Midwest, primarily in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska and Ohio. Print out a and find/color in these states or glue a popped pocorn kernal on each state!
